Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on servers of DigitalOcean LLC in London. Like every web server, ours records technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are deleted after a limited period.
Cookies
The site uses one essential cookie, cookie_consent, which remembers your choice in the cookie notice for 30 days. It does not need your consent.
Only if you click ‘I am ok with that’ in the cookie notice, the site also uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (up to two years) and processes your IP address in shortened form. If you choose ‘Disable Analytics’, Google Analytics does not load and no analytics cookies are set. To change your choice later, delete this site’s cookies in your browser and the notice will appear again. Google may process data in the United States; Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
No other data
The site has no forms, no accounts and no newsletter, and collects no other personal data.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data about you, object to its use, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
